The Journey Conference arrives in Grimsby – A powerful new event exploring what it means to be human

30th March 2026

Grimsby will host a major new wellbeing and community event this spring as The Journey Conference comes to Grimsby Auditorium for the first time. Designed to bring people together from across North East Lincolnshire and beyond, the conference, which takes place on the 10th June, offers a full day of connection, reflection and shared experience.

Created by Cudox Wellbeing CIC, a local not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to improving mental health support, The Journey Conference blends expert insight, lived experience and community participation in a way that feels fresh, immersive and deeply human.
Leading psychotherapists take you on a journey into the human mind, examining what makes us human, how we tackle challenges and move from the source of pain into healing.

Join sector-leading experts for a fascinating day to explore the human condition, panel discussions, presentations and thought provoking guest speakers with lived experience deliver insights into the challenges we all face in life, and what we can do to overcome them.
Attendees will hear from leading voices including Dr Swan Dao, Dr Lisa Cherry, Angie Graham and sector-leading experts by experience. The day also features interactive sessions, movement‑based activities such as a silent disco, sensory spaces, a quiet room and a marketplace showcasing local services and support.

“This isn’t a traditional conference,” adds Angie. “It’s a space where people can feel, connect and explore what shapes us as humans. Whether you work in services, have lived experience, or are simply curious, you are welcome.”

As a community‑focused event, ticket prices have been set only to cover essential costs, with any surplus reinvested into local mental health support. Subsidised and fully funded places will be available for those facing financial barriers.

The Journey Conference promises a day of inspiration, conversation and connection for the whole community.
