About Lucy Watts

The majority of my working life has involved working in a supportive role with families, young people and children- often those who are considered ‘hard to reach.’ In recent years my work within the third sector developed as I took the lead on fundraising and business development, with a specific focus on bid writing.

Following my success and passion in this area, in 2022 I decided to utilise my expertise and launch my own business ‘Watts Funding’ which has gone from strength to strength. I was delighted when I met Angie Graham at a Funding Fair in October that year and honoured when she asked me to support Cudox which is an organisation that totally aligns with my own experiences and morals.

Together we have achieved great things! I’ve witnessed the organisation grow which has been made possible due to the successful outcomes of funding applications but also the vision, passion and determination of the team or ‘family’ which I have been made to feel very much part of.

I live in Lincolnshire with my partner and gorgeous rescue Staffie, Chase. I’m a proud mum to my son who has recently flown the nest for university. I love the simple things in life, camping, walking and socialising. I’m passionate about sustainable living and my family and friends mean the world to me.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for Cudox.
